about Eva Moon Press
Hello! Eva Moon Press was established by me (Julia Neises) in early 2011 in Berkeley, California when I found myself engaged to be married and determined to design and letterpress print my invitations. Luckily, I had incredible mentors who taught me in the ins and outs of metal typesetting (by hand, one letter at a time!). Now, I live with my husband in Portland, Oregon and run my business out of a tiny studio in our home. The work I do includes graphic design for individuals and small businesses, stationery design, styling, and selling collections of vintage ephemera.
With a background in English Literature and years of experience in the design industry, my classic aesthetic reflects the belief that the process of good design is like telling a story: thoughtful, distinct, and graceful. I'm always up for a challenge and would love to discuss your project.
Eva Moon Press is named after my great-grandmother, who inspired generations of makers within our family.
